Test & Warranty Policy
Draft — pending owner confirmation. The wording below describes our standard practice and is not yet a binding commitment.
Every unit we list is powered on and signal-tested before it leaves our warehouse. This page explains what our test warranty covers, how long it lasts and how to make a claim.
01 Test Warranty Period
All equipment listed on this site carries a 90-day test warranty from the date of delivery, unless the individual product page states otherwise.
The warranty covers functional failure under normal use — that is, a failure that our bench test could not have detected at the time of dispatch.
02 What Is Covered
Covered faults include: a unit that does not power up, dead or intermittent channels, failed output stages, inoperative controls, drivers that fail with no sign of transit damage, and firmware or factory-reset faults on digital consoles and processors.
A covered fault is remedied by repair, replacement with an equivalent unit, or a credit against your account — at our option, once we have reviewed the evidence.
03 What Is Not Covered
Not covered: cosmetic wear, cabinet scuffs, faded paint, worn grille cloth and missing non-essential accessories — all of which are disclosed in the listing description and photographs before purchase.
Also excluded: damage caused in transit, water or impact damage, unauthorised repair or modification, damage from incorrect voltage or wiring, consumables such as lamps, belts, batteries and styli, and units sold explicitly as for parts or non-working.
04 How to Make a Claim
Contact us within the warranty period with your order reference, the unit serial number where applicable, a short video or photographs showing the fault, and a description of how the unit was being used.
We aim to acknowledge every claim within two business days. Please do not return goods before you receive return instructions from us; unauthorised returns may not be accepted.
05 Conditions
This warranty applies to the original buyer and is not transferable without our written agreement.
This page describes our standard practice. It does not replace the terms agreed in your individual contract or proforma invoice; where the two differ, the signed contract prevails.
