Shipping & Delivery

Draft — pending owner confirmation. The wording below describes our standard practice and is not yet a binding commitment.

We ship used professional audio equipment worldwide by air and sea freight, and we prepare the export documents. This page explains the terms, the timelines and who is responsible for what.

01 Shipping Methods

Air freight is used for urgent, smaller or high-value orders; sea freight is used for full pallets and container loads and costs less per unit.

Door-to-door service is available to many destinations. Where it is not, we ship to your nominated port or freight forwarder.

02 Trade Terms

We quote on EXW, FOB, CIF or DDP terms, depending on the destination and your preference. The term used is stated on the proforma invoice.

Under EXW and FOB, risk passes to the buyer when the goods are collected or loaded. Under CIF, risk passes when the goods are on board. Under DDP, we remain responsible until delivery at the agreed address.

03 Packing

Cabinets are wrapped, foam-protected and strapped to pallets. Consoles, amplifiers and processors are cartoned or racked inside a crate. Flight cases are used where the buyer requests them.

We photograph the packed goods before collection, so the condition at dispatch is documented.

04 Transit Times

Air freight is typically a few days in the air plus customs clearance. Sea freight depends entirely on the sailing schedule and the destination port.

Transit times shown on a quotation are estimates only, based on the carrier schedule at the time of quoting. They are not guaranteed delivery dates.

05 Documents and Duties

We prepare the commercial invoice, packing list and any certificates required for export. We do not under-declare values or misstate goods.

Import duties, taxes and destination clearance charges are the buyer’s responsibility unless the quotation states DDP. We will provide the documents your broker needs.

06 Damage in Transit

Damage caused by the carrier is not covered by our test warranty. Inspect the goods on arrival, note any damage on the carrier’s delivery document, and photograph the packing and the damage immediately.

Notify us within the period stated in our Inspection & Dispute Resolution policy so that we can support your claim against the carrier.
